Domain 2: Radio Frequency (RF) Sensors

The RF Sensors Domain of the MCM ITP (Domain 2), primarily considers technologies and components which offer a benefit to the design and development of RF Sensors applicable to missile systems.  Essentially, the domain seeks research proposals which offer potential benefits in the four key areas:

• Low cost of ownership, which at a seeker level can be seen as reducing cost for a given performance, or for a lower seeker performance which can be compensated for at system level.
• Increase reliability for better operational availability, which equates to lower cost.
• Better accuracy.
• Development of techniques to improve target recognition/identification and offer Battle Damage Assessment or Indication (BDA or BDI) capability
